hey everyone ive been told and have seen ek civics rockin gd oem front lips. the fitment is pretty good from the pics ive seen.

but if the gd works on an ek.... then technically an ek lip should fit a gd. right?!

ive scowered the internets looking for someone who has done this or attempted it or w/e and cant come up w/ anything.

im looking to replace my front lip either w/ an RS (mugen rep)


a greddy ek front lip


or an EK mugen rep.


i can get them both for around the same pr but i really wanna see what it'll look like.

AND since my PC took a shit i cant photoshop it myself. im limited only to browsing the net at work

if anyone has seen this done or has a link or a pic or can do the photoshop ;p pls feel fre to post.

It would be awesome if ek lips fit the Fit because besides the j's lip I don't think there is very many good options out there for us. Sorry I don't have photoshop.

 

yeah im holding off until i can get my hands on an EK front lip that i can test or until someone gives me some confirmation on this theory of mine. cf hood and stance are next on the list

 

i've been thinking about doing the same. actually, i was going to buy a rep-mugen ek lip from a seller on craigslist but that fell through.

please post pics if you make this happen! ek lips are so much cheaper than gd lips

it doesnt fit well because the bumper opening on EG/EK is smaller than a fit. yes you could bolt it up but it doesnt sit flush and doesnt really look that well on the fit either. i almost went with a BYS front lip for a eg but the lip wouldnt cover the opening in the middle,(after you take off the stock lip) it wasnt worth the money and it would have to be in FRP which kinda blew

to the OP. someone did try it but it looked like butt. it was a black gd fit but iwas awhile ago and i mean awhiiiiiile ago
