Keeps cooler air entering the engine compartment. and it looks good too,
and when you sell the car remove and put the blank back in.

If you have a scan gauge see what kind of temperature drop you are getting at the intake air temperature sensor..... It really looks great on your car and seriously anything that lowers intake air temperature even a little is a good thing especially if it looks that good.

Yes In the next few days, I will remove the scoop and you can see the area were the cooler air enters.

I am pretty sure you have seen my louvered hood either on a post here or elsewhere.... Definitely not a work of art but functional..... I think I need a scoop directed to an insulated cold air box that the intake to my supercharger would be inside of.... The Kraft Werks inter cooler has a scoop similar to yours in the same location with a hose feeding into ducting around it.

Hey Village! now that I see the car I know who u r. Ya ol dingo/coyot Maker.
Ya I saw that one on the KW's page and it was 500 to my recolection. How about ascoop to an inter cooler that is used on the turbos? would that cool the air much? Or too much plumbing may slow the air down?
How bout the kid from Assi, funny kid I like him.
