I got mine from Visual Garage as well. Well made, color matched perfectly and reception hasn't changed:

Intending to purchase the VG Shark Fin Antenna but the site does not have one for 2010 model yet. I'm sure the color, Storm Silver, will be the same for the 2009 but just want to verify if this is the case. I did send them an email but no response as of yet. TIA!

Yup - I just did that, will have it in a week or few. Didn't realize they're a Canadian company. They took me for three cents on the dollar.... eh?

Got make a buck somehow eh. lol

You sure they did not give you 3 cents? Exchange rates suck. My bank is showing 1 US is 1.01 Cdn and 1 Cdn is .95 US going the other way.

penny here penny there - it never adds up ;-)
I'm going to try and snake the XM antenna through the stock antenna hole and into the car. Some where on here a guy got to the inside of the stock mount by pulling the rear child seat belt hook up out and pulling the headliner a bit down. What do ya think, eh?

I was looking at instructions and it looks like if you just pull the hatch weather stripping off and then pull the liner down you should be able to get at it. May have to remove that seat belt retractor. Just be careful and don't bend the headliner.

Hey guys. I found photos of bet sonic antenna from facebook. It looks like they have more than one design, or is it just me that they look different?? O.o

I'd like to get one soon, but I don't know which one to get. Any advice from Fit experts?
Thanks.

Go VG!
Design is softer, fit is great first class product.
XM antenna easily fits under it if that's of interest.

Thanks for the advise.
My neighbor has VG Shark Fin on his Subaru. I think I will ask him about the quality.

I went to Honda dealers with my friends, and noticed they carry beat sonic shark fins in accessory shops, but they didn't have any VG.

Are VGs online purchase only? It says it takes several weeks to receive it. Any fee on rush order?

$100 here, and $100 there. It's just too much when it all adds up. I want to spend my money wisely.

Thanks.

Looks like the reason it takes a couple weeks is because they paint them to order. You'd think they would just have a few of each color already painted but perhaps they don't sell them enough to do that.

i posted this in the ICE section of the forums. but the beat sonic antenna (90$ normally) can be had for $13!!!

https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...fin-cheap.html

only comes in white, however you can easily spray paint it via the link i provided in the thread. the website has every fit color in rattle cans! (trust me i've done both my lip and bumper previously with them..awesome stuff)
