DHL? It will end up costing you a lot for custom clearence and taxes!
If they used US Postal Services, it may have taken a few more days, but it is worth the wait, specialy when shipped as a gift or a sample.
Please let us know the total amount once delivered to your doorstep. I might be interested!
Actually, it was sent by USPS, my mistake as I was thinking about another order I had coming. I will let you know the cross-border fees when it comes in.

Update for those canucks!

I received my garnish today via USPS. I was charged a total of C$14.02, C$6.02 for GST based on a value of C$100.38 (US$95) and the usual C$8.00 handling fee.

I haven't opened up the box yet, but I like the cross-border fees!!

Excellent! I think I won't have to pay for that handling fee...that was included in my price as I opted for the 3-5 day shipping...can't wait to get it, looks like it is due for arrival on Friday

Open up the box and take a picture!!

Here are a couple quick pics, which now that I look at them, are not very good. Sorry about that.

I have not tried fitment, but the quality is really good! There was a small chip out of one corner which may have happened during shipping, won't be too hard to fix.

Question for those to have received this, there are two small diameter holes in the back, what is their purpose? There was no instructions, screws etc.

I'm assuming they may be for production purposes. Certainly lots of tape on the back.

i am almost positive that they put the 2 holes there for heat expansion. if you put a ball in the sun, the heat will expand the air. if you put it in say a freezer, the air will become more dense and it will collapse. so they serve a purpose

If you get a hold of them, they are pretty good to deal with. Only gripe from me is their shipping cost for this little bugger!

I am curious to know about the weight? How heavy is it?

I had to relocate my subwoofer from the tailgate (fifth door) because the struts did not hold the tailgate up with the added 8 pounds during cold winter days!

This thing I think is light, it's fiberglass...Id estimate a pound or two...

I don't think the addition of 8 pounds will affect your Fit in the winter, what kind of problem are you having?

y0 fitsport2007 could u post up some more pix? what about a shot of the part that has double sided tape on it. Is it hollow on the inside? oh btw those holes are for heat cuz the trapped air needs 2 be released, or else ur gonna get bad heat expansion and some cracking.

As requested - it is indeed hollow and only a few pounds at most

The tailgate did not stay up... I had to hold it up because the struts did not have enough gas/spring pressure to hold it in position.
But I am sure they would have held up to 5 additional pounds without problems.

Wow, really? I never had that problem last winter. I guess the cold temperature compressed the gas inside of the struts enough to prevent them from lifting the tailgate...
