About 2 years ago my vent window on the drivers side was broken by a rock. I taped it in place and made do until now. A replacement window from eBay is at my house now.

Has anyone been through replacing this? What will I need?

I have the glass and frame.

I saw a thread about an 09 owner doing this, but nothing specifically for my year. Any help would be appreciated.

 

The best advice I have is to contact a place that replaces windshields as they would be a great wealth of knowledge. The only place I can think of off the top of my head is Safelite, though I know there are other companies.

 

Piece of cake to change. get the old window off, clean most of the window weld off. Clean the area,
then insert the new glass into the new molding apply window weld all around and press it in place! tape the new glass all around and crack your windows, so that when you slam the door shut, the air pressure doesn't pop out the new window.
