Just bought a 2012 Fit Sport AT. 61,500 miles. ATF drain fill?

Hi all, I've been getting mixed opinions on the interwebs.

Just bought my Fit. 2012 sport auto. 61,500 miles.
Not sure if the previous owner changed the ATF.
But the fluid looks nice and red pink.
Is it absolutely imminent that I change the fluid and filter immediately? I've already put like 300 miles on it over the week. it's hard to get to a shop right now with my work schedule. Should I be worried? Or will it be okay to change it at like 62,000 miles ish. Has anyone ever done their initial drain and fill at a later mileage with a 2012 automatic and had no issues? Thanks in advance

Doing a fluid change when you first get a used car is akin to going to the physician for a check-up. You are most likely fine. Changing the oil, atf, and filters for me is one part peace of mind and one part maintenance assurance.

Did the previous owner have any maintenance records?

I see they did plenty of oil changes and other fluids, but not transmission. At least from what I saw on Carfax. So I'm just paranoid I think but still. Just curious if I need to stop driving it until I change it.

Yes , should be replaced . May want to do a few within 6 months . Give or take on the months depending your comfort with the tranny . Here's a thread worth taking a look at , https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forum...t_ATF_capacity . Keep us up on your actions . Enjoy .
