Goodbye FG, Hello GK

After much soul searching, I decided to get rid of my FBP 07 Si, as I have two kids and wife doesn't drive stick. I bought the car brand new and had 14 years of memories in it, bitter sweet to see it go.

Thought about Accord and Civic, but didn't want a big payment, so went with GK Sport. Happy so far, already thinking about HFP suspension though. We'll see. Looking forward to the FF forum.

What'd you use to wash your Si? That clear coat deterioration is concerning.

The Sport looks good in that grey

Washed it with meguiars gold class. Fiji Blue had a known clear coat issue. Was covered with a 7 year warrantee. Dealership said they fixed at 6.5 year mark, obviously they didn't. Thanks.

Neighbor has an '07 Si in black. Same clearcoat issues.

Your new Fit looks great! Really good combo with the gray paint and black wheels. Hope you enjoy the new ride.

^ Yeah, black and blue had major clear coat issues... Major difference in power, but I'm not to upset. I've got an bmw e30 that keeps me happy.

Consider Koni orange with Swift or Megan springs, depending on the cost of the HFP setup. I think the HFP is softer by comparison, too.

I had an e30 318 years ago, was lots of fun until everything started to break.

I have Koni Orange and Tanabe Springs and I paid less than $500 shipped and they are a great upgrade and lower you 1.4 inches.

Shocks- https://www.koni-na.com/en-US/NorthA...552&mk=18&mt=1

Beautiful ride. I should've switched out the shocks when I lowered my 2018 on Eibach pro-kit but at the time, there was less 400 miles on the car.

Does anyone know if the bumpers and side skirts from a "Sport" model can easily be added to an EX?
I have the same color scheme, but I 'm really digging that setup!

thanks for ideas guys.

this setup does look nice as shown above.

My e30 has been a labor of love. I’ve just did the head gasket, and have had some problems with it lately. I don’t want to let it go, but I’m close to thinking it’s time.

I'm about ready to part with my 88 325is as well.
Had it for 17 years (all original)....but I think it's time to get it out.

I love the car, but after a head gasket/thermostat/water pump etc install I can’t get it to run right. I’ve finally sent to the professionals to hopefully fix. I really don’t want to swap engine, but I’m really close to doing it. Kmiata now makes a kit to swap old TSX engine in e30. I think if I had money, I’d do that for sh*ts and giggles.

That'd be an epic swap!
So powerful and smooth (over the inline 6 from the e30).
