Getting side bubble on tires

I drive my car on Puerto Rico which have really horrible streets. I been getting side bubble on the tires often, wondering what type of tire or size should I get to minimized this problem.

Side Bubbles on Tires

Maybe tires with more sidewall would help. "Rubber band" (Low profile tires) are NOTORIOUS for sustaining pot hole damage!
