New Freak - Hello!

Greetings!

New owner of a 2018 Fit Sport w/CVT @23k miles.

I pushed through all the FUD of injector failing intake valve crusting CVT melting carpet soaking chaos, and got one anyway. (though I will admit, it made me chose to pay the extra for an extended warranty).

So far I'm loving the car. I've always preferred smaller cars for their nimble handling feel and lightness. I've also been interested in CVT's for a long time, but was a bit put off by different manufacturers making them "fake" gear shifts in normal operation. That defeats the purpose. Driving the CVT in the fit is great. It behaves exactly the way I would want it to, be it in drive, sport or manually shifting with the paddles. Besides, I'm pretty sure the red stitching in the sport makes the car faster. Right? Right?
