I just bought my Daughter a 2018 sport fit with a little over 25,000 miles on it. I was just wondering how good are they in the snow? She lives on the edge of Lake Erie's snow belt. Thinking of getting a good set of snow tires or if possible changing rims from the low profile.
As long as the snow isn’t higher than the floor pan they’re great! Both my partner and I run Michelin X Ice tires and they are very good, but any quality winter tire would be just as effective. I do not recommend driving in the winter snow on anything but 4 quality winters. Hope she enjoys her new ride!
Thanks for the replies I will definitely get her some good snow tires. Never owned a vehicle with low profile tires so not sure how they preformed. Plus the the Fit doesn't have much ground clearance.
She loves the car, I'm really impressed with it to. That folding back seat is genius, I still shake my head at the amount of room in such a small car.
