I have a new 2020 Fit. When ever the car is wet, from rain or washing, I have multiple straight streaking/bleeding lines (black in color from all four door handles. It appears to be from black gasket deterioration or screws used that are corroding. Any others experience this? (basically two lines of streaking from each door handle) Is there a recall for inferior gasket or grommet material? Is anyone else having this problem?

 

I've never heard of this (aside from road grime), but you may wish to clean the areas, apply wax to the handles, rubber gaskets and handle areas to see if it'll seal them.

 

Car only has 1000 miles on it. Handles are white. It appears to be inferior rubber gasket material that holds handle assembly to door.

 

All four doors show this black streaking down the side of the car.
