Brand new from MA

I've had many different cars in my time, but never a Honda. I'm 65 and need another car, daughter is taking away her car to college now. I've had a lot of Mazda's, and raced and autocrossed a few as well.Looking to save some gas and have a vehicle that lasts awhile. Bruce

Welcome, Bruce. Honda Fits are great cars. Having owned three myself, Fits are perfect cars for longevity and fuel efficiency. My personal recommendation is to source one between the years of 2009 and 2013. In my opinion, these were the best Fits.

Cheers,
Kevin

Yes, definitely drive one, if you get the chance. One complaint I've had which was shared amongst all three generations of Fits that I owned is that the seats aren't the most comfortable. Of course, people have different body structures, so you may find that to be untrue, but driving one would be the only way to tell for certain.

I'm about 6 feet tall, so we'll see. I was going to look into Civics too, but most of them, at least older ones have been modded quite a bit.
