Got my first car. Black 08 sport. All the changes I made were cosmetics so far (tint, window visors, splitter). I'm looking for a turbo kit. I think they are kind of rare nowadays. What other performance upgrades do tyou guys recommend? What should I do before thinking about making my first performance mod. I new to the car community to I would love to receive any advice.

Welcome to FitFreak. Maintenance is always the first thing to do if it's not been done.

GD Fit's are due for valve adjustments every 60k miles or so, plugs every 90k or so (I do them when doing valve adjustment), brake fluid every 3 years, etc.

As for your first performance mod, that needs to be a Hondata FlashPro - https://www.hondata.com/flashpro/flashpro-fit?filter=10
Without that, any modification you make will net very little to no horsepower.

I'm at around 123k so I think I'm due for valve adjustments. Where do I go for that or can I do it myself? If so are there any videos showing how to do it. Also for the FlashPro kit, I don't own a windows computer, will I be able to use it on Mac.

You can do the valve adustment yourself. Just use "Honda Fit valve adjustment" as a search on YouTube and you'll get plenty of videos. You can also search here and there are write ups on the job.

FlashPro, and all other tuners, are windows based. If you're going to play in the car world, it's a good idea to pick up a cheap Windows based laptop. Under $200 gets one that is perfectly usable. Your other option is to have a shop do the tuning for you. Can use the dealer look up on Hondata's Site to find a dealer near you.
