Upgrade to high current alternator on a 2007 honda fit

I'm thinking about upgrading to a high current alternator on a 2007 Honda Fit and I've read about problems with bypassing EGR valves and idle problems with car dying, doing a big three upgrade, having to get a second battery, the need for a capacitor, switching to lithium batteries, the need for a battery isolator, and any other problems associated with this adventure.?
