Battery light on intermittently

I have a 2007 Fit sport with 150k miles on it. Recently, the battery light started coming on intermittently. It normally comes on when I am changing driving types, I.e. from bumper to bumper highway traffic to highway speeds and will turn off if I hit the gas hard and accelerate or just continue to drive for a few minutes. I rebuilt the alternator about 3 years ago and wanted to see what you guys thought it might be. I also cleaned the battery terminals and made sure they were tight.

sounds like classic signs of a failing alternator I'm afraid.

Failing battery, failing regulator on the alternator, and/or the alternator itself besides what you have already checked.

Define 'Rebuilt the Alternator'.

Def. have the battery load tested, and check alternator output. Sounds marginal...
