New Fit owner here!

At first I haven't decide on what color I want but I know for sure that I wanted an auto as my daily driver. I have been only to two of my local dealers. I went to one dealer and they have the VBP FitS but it has more than 200 miles on it so i wasn't interest on it. Then I went to the other dealer and the salesman said they just have 2 new delivery of two FitS instock so I went to take a look at it and it was a BOM. Well next thing you know was we took it to filled up the gas tank and I took it for a test drive. Came back to the dealer and disuss the financing part and do the paperwork, I got the car for 0 down with 7.9% interest rate and with less than 2 hours I took the Fit home. they wouldn't bulge on the price but it didn't work so I bought the car for $16595+tax and registration. The whole process was fairly quick and straight forward. The salesman was great and no hassle or whatsoever even the financial manager was great also. Being this is my second new car and the 06 TSX 6MT as my first new car this is by far the most pleasant buying experience. Let me tell you I was really impressed during the cruise home and do some twisties I was amazed at how agile and especially the handling characteristics of this small car. I have the same feeling as I was in my TSX if not better. When I switched to the paddle shift mode and took it to Vtec yeah I know I should take it easy and the car is even more fun to drive and felt that I was driving stick.

Congratulations!
You won't be disappointed, so far I've got 22K miles (36K Km) since Aug.1, using the paddle shifters A LOT... most of my driving is in/around Toronto but I've already done one trip to NYC and another one to DC and this little beauty really ROCKS, paddle shifters again
In July I plan, with God's help of course, to take a cross-country trip, Toronto-Seattle-LA-Florida-Toronto, for about 4 weeks, with this little beauty I bet the trip will be beautiful at least
If you have any questions, feel free to PM any time... I drive about 2.5K miles/month...
Enjoy it and drive safely
Chris

Glad you got a Fit. A fabulous car.

Got mine yesterday. And it's a great car. People complained it's a small car and other nick-picky things, but hey, it suits me. Just like you, I got to get to know my Fit more.

What color fitted your Fit?

ya, what color?
and like wordsunited said, people do say its small and all. but it really isn't. it's surprising how roomy it is inside and the seats fold down so easily too.
the only real complaint that i can agree with is little horsepower. but hey, with gas prices these days, we're lucky to have a Fit.

enjoy the car!

I couldn't agree more. The seats are surprisingly roomy. And for a 109 horsepower car, it gets the job done, or at least for me. My Honda Fit is in her blazing orange metallic glory. I hope you selected a car color that matches the way you see your fit.

Quite funny today that my cousin and dad on separate occasions told me the car is actually not that small when given a good look at it (and my dad days ago said it looks small).

SUVs though...::sigh:: I wish people brought them for a good reason. Not...to be crutches to their fragile egos...and plus they are guzzling our gas like elephants...

Still breaking her in and she is at 200 miles now. I can't wait to mods her it is going to be fun car for sure. The aftermarket for the car is going on strong unlike my TSX just basic bolt-on but nothing major like turbo especially I want a turbo kits now I have the opportunity to do so with my FIT. NE1 knows if the Fit have a drive by wire throttle or cable actuated throttle. Well the DBW on my 06 TSX has dissapoint me though.
