It is a wagon, if you look on the window sticker it says wagon.

 

Subcompact 5-door is how I describe it to folks.

 

5 door hatch, wagon, stationwagon, compact mini van, compact crossover, compact suv.... I've heard all of those when someone has been speaking of the fits.

And, it really does kinda fit into all of those categories.
