Question Ordered a Fit Sport M/T, Sold the S2000. Anyone with this experience?

Hello all,

My name is Will and due to relocating to a colder climate (Buffalo, NY), I had to sell my S2000 as it is rear wheel drive. I have a few questions:

1. Has anyone gone from a S2000 to a Fit? If so, will I be content with the Fit as my daily driver for the six months until (a) driving doesn't require front or all wheel drive? and (b) I can buy a NSX

2. I have been told the stock spring rates are too soft for those who tend to push their cars, as I am sponsored by Endless/Zeal, I am planning to buy a set of their springs for the car. Does anyone here have these springs on their car? What are your impressions.

Thanks,
Will

First off, congratz on ordering a Fit!

1. I dont personally own a S2K(i wish), but i know a few people on here that do. I think it was JDMChris who said "i would rather drive my Fit then S2K!!", maybe it wasnt Chris but i know a S2K owner on here DID say that, and that really saying ALOT lol!

2. My Fit isnt lowered and i dont plan on lowering it due to my schools parking lot entrance makes the front of my Fit drag kinda hard already i i think i would be missing a part of my front bumper if i lowered. But when i get out of HS im definetly lowering it! Dont get me wrong the Fit handles absolutly awesome bons stock but with some springs it would be amazing!

Hope i helped a little bit!! Ohh yeah, Welcome to Fit Freak!

Interesting question, but its a question only you can answer youg jedi .

Everyone can give you their opinion, but in the end, you have to flip the coin youself. I own an NSX, and the Fit is my daily driver, I am content with my Fit because it does exactly what I ask of it. It gets me to work, saves me some gas money. From my point of view, never choose a car based on what it can "potentially do" or what it can do for a short amount of time, choose it for what it can do out of the box so to speak. Because when the crap hits the fan, be it financial, personal, whatever, and you can no longer get those "potential" upgrades, you are still left with a car you are happy with, and not a car that other people told you that you would be happy with. (If I did that I would be driving a "me too" Porsche, no thanks, I prefer to be different than another "me too" clone) The Fit is a fun car, grats on your order, I hope it makes you smile for more than 6 months. But thats just my two cents man.

Choose...but choose wisely...

Just digging up this thread to see how the new fit is working for you. I am actually in the same boat as you. I currently own an s2000 and with insurance, mileage, payments, it is a hefty payment to own this car. My lease for the s2000 will end towards the end of 2008 and I am looking to settling down with a Fit to save some cash. The only thing I'm afraid of is the fall from 240hp to 109hp. I hope it is soemthing I can get use to.
