8... but it is easy to make it 10...

The reason it is a 8 is because no dead pedal/armrest/seats sit high

Those are very easy to fix tho

I would rate it at about a 9. Almost everything is perfect and I love this car but I miss things like
different speeds / intermittent wipers - front and rear
the ability to lock the car while the doors are still open (including button in the rear to lock)
arm rests - console
headlights that don't have a cut off line line across the horizon

Would I buy it again? You betcha!!

A solid 8.316374...but i rounded to the nearest mill..

Um...I think the car is actually a 9.87 but for me its a...refer to the above.

Why you might ask?...Well it does no one thing GREAT for me (with possible exceptions of handling and genius storage capacity) but it does most everything very well. Similar to never wining a race but comming in second for the entire season (still a winner just not out right)

And with regards to the vehicles short commings or naggles, there are a surprising amount of work arounds or simple adjustings to that can up that ranking (I agree with JDMchris on that for sure)

(just dont read my thoughts in the complaints forum...errr dont take them too seriously....errr read my disclaimers...yeah thats it!!!)

relatively speaking of all the cars that I have driven for periods of time long, or just hours, or just for sporting about (approx 75+ autos) only a few would I rank above an 8 overall. All things considered I find the car a very smart choice.

You would like to be considered smart RIGHT? j/k

I would most likely buy another

I would rate it a 12 out of 10.... assuming you want to rate it against other cars in this class This car does it all, great fuel, great reliability, great versitility, great aftermarket options.... that is my 2 cents (added to the perfect 10 to make it a solid 12)

9/10

reason why not 10 for this price range:
1. tach not in center of cluster
2. pedal position (too close to body)
3. no map light/vanity mirror for passenger

regardless i am very happy i got mine.

Im hovering around 8 or so out of 10. Everyone pretty much covered the why's on this thread. My additions would be that the interior materials (not the design) seem a bit on the cheap side, and there is no thermostat. (im paranoid about over heating cars) But like mentioned above, easy fixes if they bothered you that much.

8.

some negatives: No Armrest, no Dead pedal, no map lights, rear drum brakes, redlines to quick mileage varies from tank to tank I find.

pros: cool looking, tons of mods available, can fit tons of stuff inside, very fun to drive, best b-segment car available.

Positives - Looks, all that space, Handling, Incredible Potential

I would rate it a solid 8. There are little things that are not perfect but then the cool and fun things that are solid just rock it out.

about 9 for me. I need more power! Thirsty for my heavy foot, I just love the adrenaline rush. Of course no speeding in residential areas! That's just stupid. Handling=great, Interior=comfy, Styling=I like it , Power=justs needs some boost.

9.9

1. missing armrest(WTF!)
2. missing dead pedal(WTF?)
3. small gas tank(290-300miles between fill-ups)
4. 30mpg(expected more)
5. gas cap(should be key locked or inner open/close clip)
6. Disc brake pads for front/rear
7. option for sunroof
8. option for xenons
9. option for powerseats
10. option for a 2.4L twin-turbo engine

8.5

Overall I love the car. But changing from a '94 Acura Legend, the Fit could
use more instant power for passing or jumping out on a green light to change lanes quickly. However I am slowly adjusting to the change. Small negatives include, no dead pedal, vanity mirror, armrest, and no power door lock button on the passenger side (actually I really hate this particular problem). Most of these things are easily fixed - as said by others. But the car is very fun to drive, roomy, fuel efficient, easy to park, and it's good eye candy.
PLUS....you get to talk to great people here at FitFreak. Buy one. Be Fit.
