S2000 to Fit - Central Fl
Long story short,I drive alot (25k+/year) and I DD a 2000 Silverstone S2000. Ive always been somewhat curious about the Fit but never test drove one or even been inside one. Saw about a million Fits at the FHC meet this weekend in Orlando and was pretty impressed.Well I test drove one today and if all goes as planned ill be picking up my NBP manual Fit sport on Thursday.
So yeah you Florida guys have meets every once in a while?
Heres what im trading in for my 2008 Fit
As far as mods I have...
Rota Slipstreams 16x7 +48 16x8 +40
70mm Single non resonated exhaust
DC sports header
ACT street disc and HD pressure plate
Toda flywheel
Tien springs
C-West front lip
APR mirrors
Wish me luck on Thursday!

Arent you in the Panducky crew? Hahha, John went from a Fit to a S2K.
Youre doing the opposite.
Im sure you remember my Fit if you saw the Fit train. We dont really have meets often as everyones scattered all over. Anytime theres a car show/meet I try to get as many Fits as possible to attend.
Usually the turn out is great.
Itll be nice to have another Fit in the area.

haha yeah i know im gonna miss it,but I do have another "go fast" car at home, gutted 1990 S13 hatch with a SR20DET
With the Fit I pretty much just keeping it a good gas mileage DD/auto X car, suspension mods, wheels, and maybe a few other bolt ons.I really like that ings rear bumper too.
The dealer is giving me 8grand for my S but its understandable being the mileage and condition the car is in. See thats the thing, the S is a great WEEKEND CAR but as a DD driving 25k+/year it is just not working out.

yah, i can see that. it's good to hear that it's not practical because i
dont really want a practical car as a fun car. 2 doors, 2 seats(better),
and fun to drive is what im after.
BestMotoring continues to claim the S2000 as one of the best
fun cars on the road (kakeyoro ranking). ap1, ap2, and then the
CPV35 (G35Coupe).
so i want the top 2 cars.
hope you enjoy the FitSport.

Nah,I couldnt use them anyways due to the 5 lug pattern and the fact that theyre staggered 16x7 in the front and 16x8 in the rear

Anythings possible.... The 5lug part would stop you. I ran 4 to 5lug adapters but the offset would be extreme with the added offset from the adapters.
Ive ran countless number of offsets and wheels. Ranging from +0 to +55 (eww, OEM)
With the adapters, the front offset on the slips would equal out to a rough +10mm and the rear would be around +0.
