soon-to-be FIT owner
This is my obligatory intro post. I'll be purchasing a new 2008 FIT base AT as soon as next week. I've been in contact with a local dealership and have put a deposit down on the only 2008 base AT FIT they'll be stocking for a while. They tell me it's black... I'm super excited as this will be my first brand new car purchase. Currently I'm sharing a 1998 Civic EX with my husband. He's the only owner of it and it has only 60k on it. It's been such a wonderful car that I can't justify buying anything other than a Honda.
I've previously owned:
1991 Dodge Caravan (a hand-me-down)
1994 Saturn SL2 (that my brother still drives)
1998 Saturn SC1 (bought in 2001, totalled by a pick-up truck, I'm still bitter about this)
1997 VW Passat Wagon (bought in 2005 after the above mentioned wreak, was nothing but trouble from the get-go and the snobs at the PassatWorld forums offered no help to my newb-ness)
It seems so much more friendly and helpful here and I've heard so many good things about the FIT. I will post pics as soon as my FIT arrives.
