I purchased a red '08 sport (stick) on the 16th of September. It had 20,990 miles on it. I have been searching a bunch on this web site and doing a lot of reading/catching up.
Last night I did the defrost/a-c mod.

I look forward to many safe miles with good gas mileage.


My last car was a '95 EX with a D15Z1 swap.




My car before that was a 2001 ITR.


Before that I have had several Volvos (945TI/764TI/242GT/242TI/244GL etc.)

 

Congrats I also recently purchased a 2008...I do some spirited driving and still get 24 mpg which is outstanding in my book. My other car barely managed 12 mpg city 16 highway. What is this defrost/ a/c mod you speak off?

my 08 GD has been flawless so far. i think you'll like it. with the MT it feels like a honda. reminded me of my first civic back in the dayz.. i had a 90' hatch.

 

So far so good... ~4,000 miles thus far!

Current wish list:
-A Progress rear sway bar is on the way
-Magnetic drain plugs (just need to install a set that I have)
-Cold air intake of some sort (?)
-Shifter of some sort (?)
-Map light (hope to find one with homelink and sunglass holder)
-JDM arm rest/coin holder/vent visors/LED rear brake light (I currently have a line on a set of used rear LED tail lights).
-Tail gate and door sill garnishes
-Interior chrome(?) door handles

I'm so happy for you. The new ones just aren't good looking. Strut your stuff.

 

It has been about 10k miles and the car is doing great!!! So far it averages ~36mpg (mostly city).

I installed a set of the LED tails last night and will install a skunk2 shifter kit when the JDM arm rest arrives.
The progress rear sway was install ~3k miles ago.
I have a homelink map light to install when I get the spare time.

So far so good!!!
