Hello all. It looks like I'll be joining the ranks of satisfied Fit owners this Saturday. My life as a car enthusiast began with a Honda ('97 Civic hatch), took some interesting turns after that, and has now brought me back to the big H. I'm coming from an '07 G35 sedan and it was just too much of a hassle to keep it looking nice (black). Also more than I needed for my daily commute.

Anyway, I've come across this site several times in researching the Fit and it seems like a great resource/community so I figured I may as well join up since I plan on adding my personal touch to the car and it looks like there's some great info here. Really looking forward to having something economical again.

Here's a pic of my current moneypit. I'd like to bring some of the same style to my Fit... except with less zipties and duct tape, maybe

Out with the old and in with the new! Picked up my 2013 Sport 5spd in Polished Metal Metallic on Friday and christened her in the thick of winter storm "Nemo". I was a bit nervous driving a brand new car home in a blizzard but she handled the snow like a champ!

Currently looking at ordering all the factory options missing that I need like the armrest, sport pedals, cargo cover, etc... I'd really like to do something with the headlights, but it sounds a bit involved from what I've read so far (no JDM plug n play HID setup, I guess?).

Anyway the car is great and totally meeting my expectations so far! Can't wait to clean her up once it stops raining and start personalizing.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, and thanks for the compliment on my rustbucket, sharckie! My job actually shipped me off to the UK/Europe before I could even do 300 miles in the Fit lol. So it looks like I'll see her again in May, hopefully with some cash saved up for mods.
