Just bought a new black 2013 Fit Sport MT this weekend. Found this great site while researching vehicles and I figured that now I'm an "official" Fit Freak, I'd introduce myself.

The bummer is that we've already got an appointment to take her in for service tomorrow to take a look at the stupid TPMS light.

I purchased my 2013 Sport a couple of months ago. They are so much fun, right? Mine is Blue Raspberry Metallic.
You stated that your TPMS light is causing problems? Mine came on a few days after getting the car. I tested the tire pressure and added air where needed...the light hasn't come back on since.

Thanks for the reply. The light that was illuminated was the one that actually says "TPMS", not the low-pressure warning light -- the one that looks like a tire with an exclamation point, like (!). I did check the tire pressures all around and they were more or less spot on spec.

Took it back to the dealer yesterday and they "fixed" the issue. As of today the TPMS light remains unilluminated (knock on wood). Hopefully it was simply a matter of the tech who did the pre-delivery inspection not setting the system up correctly, which is my suspicion. The car was PDI'd as we were doing the paperwork on the deal, so I suspect the tech was under the gun.

 

nice choice. is there anything different between the '12 and '13?

im really enjoying my '12 sport MT myself. it's a great car. fun to drive and does everything i need all at a bargain price. i can't ask for more.

 

As far as I know there is nothing new for 2013. I agree it sure seems like a fun little car.

 

yah, i think our gen is done after 2013, right? all new starting 2014 or something. honda's trying to consume all the parts before it's all said and done i suppose.

i got swift springs and tanabe muffler and some other stuff on mine. but those 2 alone made my car really enjoyable to drive.
