Frieda Francine Fit
Frieda Francine Fit
Hi everyone!
This is my first car forum and from what I've read so far it looks like a fun bunch of Fit owners! I bought my silver LX Fit on my birthday back in late January after my old 2001 Subaru bit the dust. I miss my Subaru Impreza Wagon, but it was time to move onto something a little smaller with great gas mileage. The big roomy trunk is a blessing. I'm an avid R2-D2 builder (member of the R2 Builders Club, 501st, and Rebel Legion) and go to many scifi conventions throughout the country with my droids (I have two R2 units and a mouse droid). The Fit perfectly fits my needs.
My Star Wars buddies and I decided to call her Frieda Francine Fit. I'm going to try to design a cool triple F bumper sticker for her, kinda like a feminine triple XXX (from the movie). She's already seen a lot of action in snow the past two weeks, and she's getting about 36 mpg in town. Next month I'm driving her from Denver to Anaheim for the Star Wars Celebration (April 16-19, 2015 in case anyone wants to meet the droids). Afterwards I'm going to test her on the Pacific Coast Highway for a day.
Frieda is really the car that fits my lifestyle and needs. I'm sure we'll get along for a very long time. Thank you for letting me join this forum.
