New forum member!
Hey howdy everyone! Poopsicle here, introducing myself. I am new to this forum, but pretty active on one of the larger art-collecting forums out there, so I well-versed in forum etiquette. I await your hazing and trolling
I’m originally from Baltimore but made the move to Denver 3+ years ago. Colorado is amazing and fits my outdoorsy passions quite nicely.
I drive a black ’07 Honda Fit. I originally acquired it out of necessity but now I love it. Back in 2010 I was driving ’96 VW Jetta when I hit an ice patch and totaled the car (I was fine in case you care). My only requirement in a replacement was that it have a manual transmission, which I discovered was harder to find than I anticipated. Eventually I bought my current Fit off my step-mother, and I’ve had it since.
My main reason for joining this forum is to participate in discussions related to car-camping (and the accessories that go with it). I built a 39”x69” bed in the back of my Fit 2 weeks ago and took it to Yellowstone this past weekend. It worked perfectly, better than I could have imagined, and I am extremely proud of my design. Now I want to make other modifications and turn my car into a legit camper.
I will create another thread later summarizing the details of my own design in case other members are interested in doing the same. It was cheap and easy, and very rewarding. See you there!
