New Guy '12 Fit

Hey everyone.
Just got out of the military and decided to get myself a little '12 Fit Base Model. Any advice or suggestions are more than welcome.
Thanks people.

Welcome & Congrats!

Welcome to the Forum! Advice: Get a manual, you'll enjoy the car much more, and since you're buying used, I'd say go for a Sport model instead of base; it's a little better outfitted options wise. By the way, Thanks for your service (which branch?) fellow vet, Fittmann

Thanks people.
At the end of Sept I just got a '12 Fit sport 5sp from a local Honda Dealer.
I had a 2004 CRV 5sp and the Fit is really quite a hoot to drive AND gets
real good gas mileage even when I put my foot into it!

The only thing i paid for so far was get the windows tinted -
The Fit didn't come with any tint and it makes a world of difference with glare and keeps the car cooler!

Enjoy enjoy!

I got the exact one I was planning. It's the 5 speed but I couldn't find the sport. Also Army!
In addition, thanks for the welcome everyone.
