Hi deckwork - I waited a short 2 weeks - and was pretty lucky, too.

Here's the story: I first walked in to Penske Honda on June 10, saw the Fit for the first time (one Sport model was sold and ready for delivery and one base model was available for purchase). I called to get a test drive on June 12 (drove the base model) and told the sales guy yes put me on the list. I'm not picky, must be a Sport model in anything but black or white. He found a red one with a build date and VIN and put my name on it for delivery in late July. 2 weeks later, on June 26 he called me and said someone backed out of their purchase do you want this one? I said heck ya and took delivery on June 27.

Congratulations!!! Its always exciting receiving a new car. Even though for me it only happens once every 15 years! hhah. I must tell you, red is looking pretty damn good when I compare it to my silver one. Either way, it's certainly going to be an eye-catcher!

As for my tag-line: Don't forget to wax the beauty!

 

2 weeks! You suck...nah just kidding. Congrats...and yes I'm still a little jealous.
