I almost bought a Fit back in '09 but my budget drove me to an Altima instead. I've kind of regretted it ever since, though, because I really wanted the Fit. Next year I'm buying a new car and I'm determined for it to be a Fit this time!

I actually wanted an Altima because they looked so slick and were bigger. I ended up with my 08 Fit and have really abused it. I still absolutely love it. We just bought a new Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid and the only thing it doesn't do better than the Fit is mpg. God willing, my daughter may end up with the Fit in a few years.

 

I like my Altima but I don't know, I guess I had more fun test driving the Fit. I had to go with the Altima in the end though because it was like 8K to the Fit's 12 or 13K price tag. I haven't started researching again; are Fits still selling in this price range or have they come down or gone up a bit?
