My names John, 2 weeks ago I picked up a black 09 Sport it looks to be a 1 owner cali car. I have been reading in here for a month or so before I got the car and have learned a ton but just want to make sure of a couple things. 1 All performance mods are pointless without a tune? 2 09 fuel economy gauge says you're doing better than you actually are? 3 These engines tick no matter what? 4 is it possible to swap out the steering wheel and keep the cruise controll? As for #3 Ill start a thread in the appropriate place.

 

You don't need a tune for an intake/header/exhaust. Cams/fuel yes I agree and moving vtec RPM around needs a tune either Re - flash or dyno tune. But the 1st 3 mods I mentioned will gain you with the right match can yield you up to 20hp. Enjoy your new toy. It's an awesome car. An almost 40+mph go cart... ��
