New Ower of 2013 Fit Sport Automatic

Hi y'all. Just bought a used 2013 Fit Sport with Automatic Transmission and want to learn more about ownership and home 'DIY' service of these.

This is my second Honda, my first being a new 1980 Accord LX 5-Speed as seen above which I drove for 13 Years and over 200,000 Miles. I hope my "new" Fit will treat me as well.

Hi,

I also have a 13' bought new. Changing your interior to LED is easy.

Thanks guys. I'm looking forward to messing around with the car once I get the fluids changed and everything cleaned up. The LEDs sound pretty cool!

They are if you use white bulbs. Some of these ricers put blue ones in. As if that really helps to see in the car. I guess I like to memic Hondas luxury brand "Acura" (of which I've owned 2). I'm going to swap all interior lights to stock white LED and the "mood" light over the front console to blue LED like in Accords or Acura interiors and my interior convert is done. :-).

BTW if you have pix, email them and I'll post them if you dont have them on say Facebook to link them.

Nice...

Just a warning. Milano Red like my Tafetta White has no clearcoat so the 1st thing you should do is wash it with dish detergent to strip old wax, claybar the whole car, then wax. Then every 3mo, wax the car. If you dont, that paint will turn pink. Just find an Acura Integra of the same color and you'll see how faded/pink Milano Red can/will turn.

Alco RS-1s 2013 Honda Fit Sport Movin' Out

Our "new" 2013 Fit is now home. Spent happy hours over the weekend cleaning it up and applying clay bar and wax. The paint looks good, so I'm hoping that I can keep it that way. Here it is eating up miles on the Interstate.

Very nice. Get tint too....lol. The 12'-13' are a lot quieter on highway. I love how firm the suspension is. I'm the Clazzio seat cover rep too if you want high quality vinyl or leather seat covers. Adds luxury touch to the car as well as added comfort from the memory foam in the covers.

Thanks Des and thanks for the suggested adders too. So far my wife and kid have been enjoying the car, while I stay at work to pay for it. <g> They're both enjoying the paddle shifters (we drive manual transmission vehicles), so I'm looking forward to seeing what the paddles are all about. We could have gone either way on the transmission options for our Fit, but my kid slightly favored the Auto.
