A week ago I wasn’t looking

Then last Saturday my 2006 Prius got rear ended and they totaled it out as of yesterday afternoon. I was pretty sure they would. So I looked around for something about as practical, but maybe more fun. I found a 2008 Fit Sport with a stick. It reportedly just got a new clutch. 101,000 miles on the odometer. My old car had over 224,000 miles.

I work in child welfare. So I often transport kids. One of my semi-regulars is in a wheelchair so the cargo flexibility of the Fit is a big draw.

I have financing and insurance arranged. I just have to wait on the settlement check on hopefully Monday and I have to bring in 2 pay stubs to the bank. Then I will have a Fit in the driveway.

Sorry to hear about the accident, but it sounds like you’re making the best of it. Maybe you’ll even pass some car enthusiasm on to the kids you work with.

Welcome!

Good Luck.

Look on the bright side.
With a 12 year old Prius, with 224,000 miles on it, you were probably getting close to HV battery failure.

Unless you already replaced it...
In which case....sorry...enjoy The Fit.
