Fit Successor

Hey guys, I lent my friend the fit a couple weeks ago and she was rear ended by an F350 destroying the suspension and unibody

and state farm cut me a check for 15k on an 08 AT sport with 47k miles, so I replaced her with this

2012 double cab TRD Sport 4x4 Tacoma in Gunmetal

What's wild is that Tacoma pickups sell for more than the same year Ranger Rover Discovery around here.... If I could still wrench as well as I could a few years back I would have bought a Discovery last week.... Your Fit was looking so good I'll bet you are going to miss it... Probably when you have to dig deep into your pockets for gas money.... It's cool that you have a motorcycle that will cost less to drive than the truck.... You'll do OK.

Funny thing is I gave a Discovery to a friend, and all I kept was the Subwoofer out of it, which now resides in my girl's 09 civic sedan. I also have an '00 Accord Coupe (probably one of the cleanest lowest mileage ones ever), a CBR600RR, a Ducati 999 Biposto. The Tacoma is for weekends and foul weather and four wheeling and towing boats. I'm gonna miss the Fit. Took the parts off and put them on my friends GD3

I have been seeing beautiful Discoveries on Craig's List for ridiculously low prices and there are more and more Californians buying land around here that drive those things... I checked out what people that owns them have to say on Edmond's and it sounds like they have some expensive issues.... There are a few people that have owned and driven one for years saying that staying on top of the maintenance and wrenching on them yourself is the way to go without going broke... A number of them that are for sale have been towed behind motor homes more than they have been driven and have only been in 4WD mode a couple of times... I don't know why but I am really attracted to them all at once... I could have justified getting one a few years back when I had no road to my house and the sugar sand trail would either cause wheels and tires to sink to the axles or heavy rain would cause washouts and ditches....What do you think of getting a 2nd hand one???

I GAVE a Discovery away, and took the stereo... and I fix vehicles for a living. Unless you are a mechanic, I would say buy a used toyota or lift your fit, lol

Anytime Bro... Gotta check it out sometime with all the goodies finally transferred over. Figure the HID fogs, visors, and intake get the most daily enjoyment.

The Tacoma is sooooo dark with the double tint. Once I get the new wheels I will be stoked Might have to buy an AR before that tho, lol
