just joined.
just joined and looking to buy a 2010 fit sport auto.
car has about 13k miles, yes 12,982 to be exact.
few questions ?
1. should i buy extended warranty. do not think it's through honda.
2. what maintenance should i do right away.
like trans fluid (if so what brand), brake fluid, coolant, cabin filter, spark plugs.
the dealer did their inspection but cannot certify because of age.
any other advice is appreciated.
looked at the car and test drove. clean overall.
thanks

Welcome!
That is crazy low miles for a 2010, what a find.
1. I would say do not buy a warranty that is not through Honda, particularly on one that isn't new. The Fit is overall very reliable, set that money aside for an emergency fund in case you have a big repair.
2. Shouldn't be any need to change the coolant, as factory is 10 yr/ 120k miles according to the manual. No need to change the spark plugs either. But do change the others you have listed, brake fluid for sure, and transmission fluid due to condensation and age-related contamination with water (probably Honda transmission fluid, in my opinion, others can chime in if there is an equivalent). also if the dealer didn't change the engine oil and filter, do that too

i went over the car and looks like they changed all the fluids and filters.
have to take a look at the spark plugs and make sure they are tight.
brake pads are at about 50%. new tires.
as for the warranty, i did not buy because it was second party company.
the guy tried real hard to sell. it was $2200 to start and when i said no he went down to $1700.
have to learn to post pics.
thanks
