2nd Gen (GE 09) Base - Door Lock Actuators Flaky
I've got a 2nd Generation (GE 09) base Fit that has flaky door locks.
I'm the original owner - bought new from dealer in '09.
The front doors have always worked well, but the rear passenger side and now rear driver side locks have quit working completely. I'm also having problems with the hatchback lock.
The front two doors work consistently; both lock & unlock with both the key and keyless entry.
I've taken the doors and hatch apart to inspect the actuators...all look fine (no broken parts on the inside and still plenty of the stock white grease)...I'm stumped as to what the problem is.
Has anyone else had this issue and fixed it without needing to replace the whole actuator assembly of each malfunctioning door?
