Old dog learning new tricks.

Hello all .I recently took delivery of a 2009 Fit. It was a replacement for my 1997 Toyota Camry that decided I hadn't sunk enough money into it already and wanted a new oil pump. After almost six months of sharing my girlfriends Hyundai, I bit the bullet and got my Fit. I decided on the Fit because I've had good luck with Honda in the past, the Fit is roomy enough for my fat rear end to fit in, and gets great fuel mileage. It's a city car, which is what I wanted and since we have my girlfriend's car for trips, it will be our in town wheels.

I'm a truck driver by trade so the car will be parked a lot. When I do short trips I'll take it to the terminal but on long hauls I'll leave it at home so my girlfriend can occasionally take it for a spin to keep the battery fresh lol .

If you're curious about the name, it's borrowed from an episode of Beavis and Butthead. I was a huge fan back in the day, back when I had more hair lol!

Beavis and Butthead is a foundational piece of culture. Good luck on your travels.
