Just recently changed my serpentine belt. Since changing the belt I hear clicking/tapping noise when my fan comes on? Anyone have any ideas why or what this is??

 

Was the belt making a lot of noise before it was replaced? This noise could have always been there and now you are hearing it.

With the car off if you spin the fan blades by hand do you hear the noise?

 

I don't recall hearing the noise before. My belt didn't squeal at all before it broke. I will try spinning the fan and see if I hear the noise. Its very strange. When fan goes off so does noise. Also once car is warmed up when fan comes on its not as loud or noticeable then when car is cold or first started.
