Modify dust covers for HIDs?

Modify dust covers for HIDs?

To all HID owners, did you have to modify your headlight dust covers to fit over the HID bulb or does it fit perfectly? If so, how much cutting is necessary? Thanks for the info

i didnt' need to. All i did was put some lube on teh cover and CAREFULLY slide the bulb in.

didn't have to cut mine at all, just a little sexy talking to her, and it slide right into place.

I just installed my hids today and i didn't put the dust cover back on. Do I need the dust covers or will I be fine without them. thanks
