I personally like the stock look of those while being off just enough to see that they aren't like everyone else's. Did they cost you much?

uhhhh... those probably aren't the most legal tail lights you could have ordered... But hey... maybe you have horseshoes up your butt and will never get pulled over!

I don't see why they wouldn't be...as long as the bulbs are the right color then it should be fine. I see clear tails all the time...

Cause since you see them that totally makes them legal.

I guarantee those are VERY NOT LEGAL.

You are required by law, in the U.S. anyway, to have red reflectors on the rear of the vehicle.

Yeah. There is a Lexus SUV that comes with clears on the stock model, but has red reflectors on the Bumper.

You could do something like that.

EEexactly...that was my point. You only have to have reflectors on the rear of the vehicle...not on the tail lights.

Of course...I think that much goes without saying. The point is that the housing themselves aren't illegal. They must have the right bulbs and there must be reflectors on the rear of the vehicle...but there are probably many ways to achieve that.

Uh, Lexus sells there Sport Utility WITH clear tails on it...or at least they did. It cant be illegal if its sold as a factory item on cars, it shouldnt matter and if you get pulled over for it thats just rediculous. All you need are the appropriate colored bulbs.

I don't think you'll have a problem. I'd be pretty surprised if you did. Just don't give them another reason to pull you over and then add that to the list of things to ticket you for.
