Morimoto vs Vland led headlights assembly, anyone have experience with either?

Howdy, I just CANNOT stand the stock halogen headlights in the fit, just picked up a 2020 fit sport, this is my third Fit....I ran nice led bulbs in my 15, pulled the drl fuse and mounted a couple little fogs for drl. I was going to put the led bulbs in my new Fit but am stuck as to what to do for drls (wish the fog lights worked independently without having to cut factory wires)

so I got to convincing myself that I’m just going to purchase the entire LED assembly. I see two options, Vland and Morimoto. The Vlands are about half the price of the Morimoto. I’ve seen plenty of complaints about the Morimoto arriving with loose circuit boards, vibration issues etc but I cannot find much info on the Vlands except a few videos where people were quite happy with them. Is this a case of you get what you pay for or are the Vlands decent?

I felt the same way about the stock headlights. I just got a 2020 Fit, and I changed my lights last night to the Morimoto XB LED Headlights. They're amazing. The build quality is very sturdy. I don't know anything about the Vland lights.

Replacing the whole Headlamp Assembly with a different one!

I have a USDM model. I did A LOT of research before I spent an arm, leg, and a neck on some Bad A** ones from TRS!

The VLANDS DO NOT FIT the USDM Models. The bumpers are different between the 2. Hope this answers all those questions about Headlamp Fitment!

Those babies looking crisp! I got the same ones....how do you turn off the DRL's??? Mines just stay on unless I unplug them from the fuse box.

Only thing I don’t like about them bad boys…

When I finished installing them, I thought I was tripping when I saw the DRL’s stay on. I waited for like 12 minutes before they automatically turned off on its own. I was 100% sure I installed the fuse line to #30 inside the fuse box. I’ve also noticed they seem to stay on longer if I haven’t driven my car for a few hours but turn off faster ( about 7 minutes before they turn off ) when I do a quick stop and go somewhere. Made me concerned about the battery so I played it safe and installed a Optima yellow top.

They’re super nice Headlights, plug and play! Wish they could have made the DRL’s turn off the same time the car turns off.

Unplug the fuse everytime? It should turn off by itself automatically like mine. If not, there’s something definitely wrong big dog!

I'm gonna look into fuse #30...I'm also concerned about the long wait time for them to turn off. I bought a multimeter to see if I can tap into an accessory fuse. Someone recommended tapping into the horn fuse. Either way I'll update on this page.
