LED headlights issue
As with HIDs, it entirely depends on WHO makes them, or rather if they care enough to make it decent. There are plenty of crap modules out there. Misaligned or no “shield” for low beam makes the output blinding and even useless the diver of the vehicle its installed on.
There is another reason why you may keep getting that warning. Newer models of the Honda Fit (2007+) come equipped with CAN-bus system. To work instead of a stock halogen bulb, the LED bulb has to be equipped with the CAN-bus module, otherways you will get that warning. The reason is simple: the computer will not recognize the new LED as a bulb due to the lower resistance, compared to halogen bulbs. If I were you, I'd pick LEDs that feature a can-bus module.
Also, there can be the other reason for that failure. When installing LEDs into the 2nd-gen Fit with the headlight bulbs that have a DRL function, you need to ensure you turn the DRL function off and only use the headlights in the "on" position.
Here are LED bulbs we offer for the Fit, you can check out description and fitment information.
Hope this helps!
