Removing the fog light shield?

Has anybody here removed the shield inside the light bulb? Is it possible or easy?

I want to try it so it would be the ultimate driving light.

if you took out the shield it wouldnt reflect the light as good and would resort in crap lighting.

I PM FaceYogurt last week, and I haven't heard from him yet. Does he frequent the board often? Who else can I talk to about getting my name change? If I don't hear anything by next week, I'll just set up a new account.

I couldn't wait any longer and decided to create this name instead. FaceYogurt finally PM me today after almost two weeks. I just asked him to delete my other name.

I'm confused as to what you're wanting to do with the fog lights... do you want them to turn on as DRLs? If so there's a much easier way then tearing apart the fog lights. Are do you want them as driving lights as in straight and narrow beams instead of wide?

Since glare isn't an issue with the fog lights, I wanted to see if anybody has removed the shield so there would be more light.

For me I don't need the fog lights, I rather have brighter driving lights at night.

Yeah I was wondering about removing those light shields inside the fog housing. Anyone? I think it would make them hella bright.
