That is pretty neat looking. A little bright for my taste, but if you could hook it up so it came on when you opened the door and then went out when you closed the doors, that would be cool looking. Nice find!

I actually do like that as well, if the center light could be matched to the others and they could be wired to light up when the doors are opened and then fade out once they're closed.

negatory, still working on the dome light... working full time doesn't help either, school is coming up also... i'm gonna have to find a day that i'm free and feel like taking my fit apart... i'm gonna have to take off the headliner to hook it up to the dome light. I'll probably have to get a bigger fuse for the dome light... i've gotta start thinking before I commit to doing this stuff... hahahaha... but it will get done, eventually

With the help of a friend this mod is almost complete, I will be doing a DIY for this mod because I know it will be very popular. Basic electronics knowledge and skill with a soldering iron as well as parts from an electronics store is all that will be required!

My led's are currently blue, but you could use any color you wanted, my setup allows me to dim them and control the brightness. Also these are fully manually controlled, but you could hook them up to run like the dome light if you wanted. There is still a few issues that need to be resolved, so stay tuned for my finished mod.

Shout outs to jl0r who made a great DIY on tapping into the dome light power.

w00t! Very nicely done! I wanted to make some fiberglass enclosures that look like this and just wire it to the dome light but school and work have taken over. How many/what size LEDs did you use? Maybe I should just wait for the DIY... lol

Those LED's and shrouds are very nice looking, honestly I made my own but they are pretty ghetto. Creating proper shrouds is something I need to come up with for the final product.
