My Bi-Xenon HID Retrofit

I finally put it together and they came out looking pretty decent. I still need to figure out what is wrong with the wiring harness, because when I hit the high beams the shield flips but the headlights turn off. Well here are some pics for now.

FX35 Projectors and HID hardware, painted semi-gloss, with smoked amber reflector and clear cover for the light at the top back of the headlight that is always on with the headlights (forgot the exact name of it).

lol yeah I wasn't kidding. It is the smallest dog bowl I could find at petsmart.

BTW, I havent forgotten about the DIY retrofit, I just need to make some time and write it up. I took a lot of pics so even if my explanation suck hopefully the pictures will answer your questions.

I am actually thinking about doing the retrofit on the spare headlights I have and sell one of my retrofits. Anyone interested? PM me.

I'll try to take a picture tonight when it is pitch black outside so you can see the cutoff and brightness better.

I think the semi-gloss also looks really good since it isn't very reflective and shiny like the NHBP headlights nor all flat with no shine when painted flat black. I just think there is too much surface to paint it all flat black. The semi-gloss really blends in nicely and match up with my optional fog lights.

ONE MORE THING, thanks for the compliment everyone.

Man I am late on replying...but yeah I wanted to make it look OEM. I was thinking I could do a set in Tafetta White even hmmmmmm I do like the semi-gloss a lot though. I'll take more pics today and tonight. Thanks!

NO, I am getting a bad vibe from the for sale forum there. I am trying to sell some parts and they are giving me a hard time like I am some eBayer trying make this huge profit - annoying. I did a lot of searches for the FX35 projectors on google and I read that some people use the dog bowl, pipe flang, funnel, or the big aluminum flood lights. I actually tested this sweet aluminum funnel, but I ended up returning it once I found and fell in love with the dog bowls hahah. If you look closely I painted the trim on the bowl semi-gloss so it would look less like a dog bowl and it blends in nicer with the headlight.

Well I gotta say I really think its the most OEM looking setup ever. However, I noticed the dogbowl is the outer most circle. Whats the chrome part? I think thats the most classiest - oem look about it.
