Though I am VERY temped by the ofter. ATM I'm broke, so I'm just trying to get as much info as possible, so when I do have the money I would hopefully know what to do .

On another note, I am rather curious on how you going to handle the retrofit with people who live far away from you? Is the spare headlight is for people to hold on to and use during the retrofit?

BTW I think someone is doing a GB on black housing headlight somewhere on the forum, that I think you should look at.
Again thanks for the offer and I would hit up AKA PM you soon about the retrofit.

the spare is so he can retroFit it while you use your stockers, when you finally do get the retros in, you could look at selling your originals for some extra cash back. just an idea,

if you did manage to get a spare set of headlights in black or red would you mind building them into a set of projectors, and i could ship you my headlights after i recieve the retrofits (kind of like a core charge)? that seems like it would be a good way to keep costs down for you (so you dont have to source, and buy new headlights every time), and for us (we wouldn't have to cover extra costs of a new set of headlights, just hardware and labor; AND we wouldnt have to find someone to buy our headlights afterwards). seems like it would make sense to me anyways.

Core exchanges are a good idea, but if I purchase a brand new set of headlights and in return get a back a less than new set...it's not exactly the same. If I can get a set of used headlights, I dont mind doing the core exchange.

WOW that really looks sharp. Hats off to you, that's a great job you're doing. You may be receiving a PM from me soon lol The only issue I have is a set of lights that are black instead of red. I love the way the lights match the car. That's pretty much the only thing keeping me from sending a PM lol

I got no problems color matching. I would just paint the reflector bowl then and leave everything else alone. I am sure if anyone wants to do that, I will charge less since I don't have to paint the headlight housing and just the reflector bowl.

What did you use for the shroud on this setup? It looks different from the Dog Bowl you used last time.

I will PM you about the price. It takes me two days.

First day, I take the headlight apart and I prep and paint the housing and whatever needs to be smoked. I also cut the reflector bowl and drill all the mounting holes and do a test fit. I then spray paint the modified reflector bowl. I let all of this dry over night so there wont be any chips or cracks later on. I also use high heat paint so no worries with heat ever.

Second day, I mount the projectors and take apart my car so I can mount the headlights and do the alignment and tightening on the hardware. After the cutoff is perfectly straight, I check again to make sure all the nuts are tight and I put my car back together. All is left then is putting the dog bowls on the projectors and putting the headlight back together with the new butyl based sealant.

The last retro I did, took me one weekend. The reason it takes me two days instead of one is because I let everything dry overnight.
