Another HID Retrofit!

I just completed another HID retrofit for a fellow FitFreaker. I'll let the picture speak for themselves.

Here's a picture of the butyl sealant lined up on the lens ready to be squished squished inbetween the black plastic housing and the lens.

I hope he enjoys them as much as I enjoy my HID retrofit!

I have only used the FX35 projector so it would be my first retro with a Q45 projector, but it should work. There are pics floating around of a white Jazz with them.

Well the FX35 projectors use D2S bulbs and the projector also has a shield that moves internally for the highbeams. I will get more info not the plug and play kit that supports this.

I am not 100% sure but I would think only the igniter and bulb is different, but the ballast is the same. You need to check with someone who sells HID kits to verify this. I'll see if I can get any info on it. If you get any info, please post it up.

I can't wait till I receive them! Also, smeister is one of the best individuals I've dealt with for a purchase. Was very prompt with questions and the turn-around was very fast. I feel like I'm rating an eBay sale, but seriously, was a pleasure to deal with.

The only difference in bi-xenon and normal ballast is the extra plug the bi xenon ballast has to power/trigger the hi beam shield. But many people who have HID rarely use the hi beam function. You will be fine with just the normal ballast. Some people who have bi xenon projectors rather wire it up then waste it. I'm am about to start my own retro as well with the SC430 projector w/ mod lense. I just need to get a shroud and I'm all set. I might be able to do custom wire harness if people are interested for their HID retrofits.

If I can buy brand new headlights from Honda for a good price say $300 shipped, would anyone be interested in getting them retrofitted so it is an easy swap. I know a lot of people don't have a spare set of headlights or a car to drive if the headlights will be retrofitted.

So what would you need? Just a Brand new Headlight and I assume the projectors as well.
