HID problem?

just installed hids last night but now i'm stuck driving with DRLs, gotta re-aim...

back to the issue, i installed H4 high/lows, with the high being a separate halogen bulb, now whenever i turn my low beams on the high beams light on the dash turns on, and whenever i go to my high beams, my halogen lights up while my hids flash and die off, then i gotta turn all my lights off and go back to low beams for the hids to come back on

i had to rearrange the contacts on the on the hid kit but i'm pretty sure theres two black wires one from each bulb going into one contact on the top of the plug and a red wire from each bulb going into their separate contacts on the sides of the plugs

anyone know what i'm talking about?

i'll try to get some pictures when i have time to take off my bumper and look at everything again

Miight have to re arrange the wiring from your high beams. If it is a plug and play kit. You have to have the high beams (the two black ground wires and the red wire connect to the stock headlight unit). I had a simlar problem where my HID lights wouldn't work but my Hi- beams would. It all depends on how you ground your wires. I had help from AznCarbos. He help me and now my HID lights are working fine. So just try to re- arrange the wires to get them to work. Good luck

just to clarify

my hid's work as low beams fine right now, but in the dash the high beam lights come on, when i go high beams, the halogens turn on, the hids flash for a sec or two then all the lights die out, and then i gotta turn all the lights off and on to get the hids back

the lows work fine, just that if i hit the high beams i lose my lights

i gotta take a look at the way i moved the contacts around when i get some spare time

anyone else have the same problem with their halogen/hid high/lows?
