Projector retrofit/wiring questions.

I have some questions regarding wiring up a projector retrofit on our cars. Hopefully what I am about to say/ask makes sense. Currently, I have a PNP bi-xenon HID kit (xenithxenon kit if that helps any). I am looking into having a projector retrofit via another fitfreak member. But I am wondering if I can use the wiring harness that came with my PNP kit to make the projectors hi-beam function and the D2S bulbs to work?

I searched the net and found some connector converters that will go from the PNP kits two connectors to allow the use of a D2S/D2R plug. If that doesn't make any sense, then click here:

eBay Motors: D2S D2R D2C HID Ballast Converter Connector Adapter (item 320195957678 end time Dec-19-07 23:59:25 PST)

Then, I was thinking, if I can use the PNP kits hi-beam wiring for the projectors shield solenoid, then what are the Black/Yellow/Green wires that are on the harness? In addition, what are the wires on the other side of the plug (the side that goes from the plug to the bulb, the reason I ask is the wire colors and amount of wires is not the same as the Black/Yellow/Green side)? I assume one is a ground and one is a power (I am not that savvy with wiring). I hope what I am talking about and asking makes sense to somebody. And if anything i am asking has already been gone over, I am sorry, I must have missed it while doing my search.

Thanks in advance.
