use a flat head screwdriver to shim it off, where the bumps lock it in place..
or just squeeze it hard and pull, thats what i did..

ya i know its a pain to get all this stuff apart so i wouldnt mess with it, but if i ever decide to i know i can always go to ur diy, also man, thanx for standing by my side, its good to be back!

its not as hard as you may think.
once you tear that ish apart youll see, its pretty simple back there.
ive had mine apart so many times,i can do it with my eyes closed..
from installing my alarm/remotestart, ipod controller, hvac, blah blah blah
O - the gauges too, i mounted my alarm's led in the center tube behind the plastic lens so its right under the stock one- i use both alarms at the same time so the two lights play nicely together when blinking hah - plus mostly all the wires you need for the alarm install are up on the gauges-- i just like taking things apart

anyway- when you (or anyone else) goes at it, feel free to ask for help.

forsure little buddy, i was thinking about putting those led daytime running lights on the front bumper but i cant find the thread for them, but i dont know when id do it, just ideas i have

Best write up and diy ever. I did everything that u said and it worked perfectly. The only thing that id suggest instead if coloring the ac and defront buttons, y dont u just get matching leds? I know i did and they came out exactly the same as the rest of the colors. Once again great job

well superbright leds has updated their website, so the pics to order are a bit off.. but the gist is the same.

has anyone tried using those for the switches instead of coloring the bulb or the letters with a sharpie, anyone knows if these are gonna fit?

Got them today! Just finished changing the ac/ and defrost bulbs to LEDs. It works, the NEO3-x 3mm red is the one i got.
