ok heres the deal...I always wanted to change the tail lights although the factory units aren't bad. So I checked out the N1 concepts website and chose to pick up their Clear Red Smoked tails for the FIT($60 YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT!!!!)
These are going on a TW Fit, decided to lamin-x one of the units just to see what it would look like and here are the results....what do you think?

 

IMO, clear always looks cleaner on TW

 

sorry if i confuse you, but with laminx looks nice. better then clear.
you should try doing this...put both taillights on the Fit(one tinted the other not), then look side to side and get to see which one it looks better in ur opinion.

 

I think smoked on most colors, but on white go clear.

I say go smoked for contrast to the white.I had clear on my old white Integra and it didn't look right.I have a SSM fit and it look's better with the clear light's than smoked.I tried the Lamin-x film to smoke out my fog's,but went back to stock and am happy with the look.Good Luck.

 

I would go with Mr. Ball. Smoked with white. I have the blue so i'd go white...

 

did they not have smoked styles anymore? cause i don't see the point of lamin-x'ing them. post picture when you have the tail lights install though.

 

On N1concepts.com, why are the smoked taillights $99.99 while the clear taillights are discounted from $99.99 to $69.99? Why the $30 difference?

 

would you pay the extra $30 for the smoked when you know you could tint them yourself??

The tinted one look a bit too blue for me, but might look different out doors.

i've also been planning on getting some of theese tails and seeing as the clears are 30 bucks less on N1's website, i google blue batmobile overlays. where do i get them? / it seems like they make precut overlays for certain cars and such, but do they also sell just sheets of the stuff? i feel like their smoked (black) stuff looks better than the lamin-x - the lamin-x looks kinda purply in certain light

you can smoke or not smoke, there is no chrome on the car other than the headlight reflectors, so being that there is chrome on the tail reflector.. it kinda matches, but i would go tinted bc back there there is no other chrome to match it up

 

id do the smoked ones on a white car. looks good.
